Master Chef Dinners
What began as weekly cooking class has grown very rapidly into a new way of celebrating birthdays and dining out.
Chef Andrew Giles launched a concept called ‘Three Recipes a Night’ which is a cooking demonstration and interactive class for groups of between 4 and 12, hosted at La Rose. This has been very well received and has developed into a group activity unlike any other.
Groups attend to enjoy amazing food styling and original recipes prepared right in front of them. These evenings are thoroughly enjoyable and interactive. Each attendee receives a copy of the recipes prepared and along with the recipe prepared the evening covers various techniques and answers many of the “how do they do that?” questions many of us have about the food industry.
Before attending, each group is sent a small questionnaire, only four questions, and from there an evening is built to meet the specific groups’ interests and skill level. Themes which have been covered so far include; Home-made Pasta, Spanish, the Basics of Baking, Roasting and Carving and Seafood.
These evenings are great entertainment and a wonderful alternative to the usual evening dinner activity.
One of the attendees, Pam Anderson, had the following to say;
“We have attended several of Andrew’s classes and are hooked! Andrew is an absolute gem and this innovative approach to dining is highly recommended as are his delicious, cleverly designed menus. This is a must for anyone who is looking for dining alternatives in the Midlands.”
